Welcome to SBCE Science Force where parents assist at the stations & students get to do fun hands on experiments.  Be sure to sign up for the correct class...sometimes the students attend Science Force with their Language Arts teacher & sometimes with their Homeroom teacher. Please arrive 20 minutes (or more) prior to the start of each lab to review your station information.  Be sure to sign up for the class your child is in...if it says Language Arts, that teacher will be taking her Language Arts class to Science Force.  If it says Homeroom, that teacher will be taking her Homeroom class to Science Force.  Please consider being an emergency volunteer in classes that lack enough parent volunteers to fill the 4 stations.  Science Force is located at the back of the school near the gym in portables 1 & 2.  Thanks for volunteering!!  Science Force is not possible without parent volunteers & only occurs during school hours.  You do not need to know the material being presented,  we provide you with all the information you need.  It's easy & fun.   Only 1 class attends at a time.  We need at least 4 parents per lab to staff the stations.  If we do not have 4 parents, the students might not be able to experience all of the stations.  Science Force is totally staffed by parent volunteers and funded by your PTA $$.  Unfortunately, siblings are not permitted at Science Force due to safety reasons.  Lab information can be found on the SBCE website, under PTA, under Science Force, under Lab information.   If you have questions or comments, feel free to email Carolyn Jones at carolyngjones@netzero.com    Note:  This is revision 5 of the schedule, we don't anticipate changes at this time, but it might change....please check back prior to the lab.
